Tena is a guest relationship platform for hospitality businesses. It gives each guest a personal digital portal for their stay and gives hosts the tools to serve, understand and re-engage those guests long after checkout.

Challenge

Every stay produces a relationship that can last well beyond checkout. Capturing it through a welcoming digital experience, easy in-stay ordering and thoughtful follow-up creates an opportunity to win repeat bookings and referrals directly. It also builds loyalty that belongs to the host rather than to a booking site. A platform built for African hosts, with local payments, can turn one-off visits into long-term guest relationships.

Solution

A platform with a guest side and a host side:

  • For guests. A mobile portal opened with a one-time passcode, holding a digital guidebook, property amenities and house policies. Guests can place in-stay orders and pay with M-Pesa.
  • For hosts. A dashboard to manage properties, guests, access points, amenities and orders. Guest details can sync with the host's existing property management system.
  • Marketing. Hosts build campaigns, choose an audience, schedule them and track results with analytics.

Hosts subscribe through built-in billing. Administrators manage hosts, payments, policies, the public landing page and system health. Branded transactional emails, passkey sign-in and two-factor authentication keep communication professional and accounts secure.
