Lawyers Hub Digital Policy Website

The Lawyers Hub Digital Policy website is the flagship LegalTech resource for Kenya's AI-policy, digital-trade and Africa digital-economy conversation. Built and maintained during the tenure as Software Developer, Justice Innovation at Lawyers Tech Hub.
Scope
Challenge
Kenya's digital-policy landscape lacked a centralised, authoritative platform to aggregate and publish AI governance research, daily policy bulletins, interactive digital-trade maps, and event listings across the AI, data protection, and digital trade sectors. Fragmented content across disparate channels made it difficult for policymakers, researchers, and the LegalTech community to access timely, structured information. No single hub existed for the daily bulletin workflow, the Africa digital-policy maps, or the publications library — each required a purpose-built content type with consistent presentation.
Solution
Built a custom CMS-driven platform with dedicated content types for publications, daily bulletins, interactive policy maps, and event listings. Implemented a full-stack architecture from MySQL database schema through the front-end presentation layer, with admin-facing content management for non-technical staff to publish and update content without developer intervention. Designed the information architecture to support Kenya's AI-policy, data protection, and digital trade discourse with structured navigation across content categories.
